About Me

I am a blessed single mom of 2 amazing young boys and everywhere we go people continue to tell me how well behaved they are and friends and even strangers frequently ask me for parenting advice. I work full-time, I coach soccer in the Fall, manage a baseball team in the Spring, volunteer in the community and at church and I tend to take on many other projects, so by necessity, I have learned that creative parenting is a lot easier, a lot more fun and a lot more effective than embarking on battles that I observe and hear daily from other parents. Let's face it - a parenting manual doesn't exist, you do not need to be certified to become a parent and so for most people it is trial by error. I feel passionate about sharing my creative parenting survival tips as a way to help other parents avoid some of these trials and to discover the true joy that I believe God intended parenting to be!
